Cancelation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled session, you will be charged a cancellation fee of the full rate which was agreed upon at the start of services. This fee will be billed to you directly and must be paid before scheduling any future appointments.

Exceptions to this policy may be made in cases of emergency or extenuating circumstances, and we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if such a situation arises.

The No Surprises Act:

The No Surprise Act  is a federal law passed in the United States that addresses surprise medical billing, which often occurs when patients receive unexpected bills for out-of-network services. This law includes provisions aimed at protecting patient rights when it comes to healthcare billing and accessing mental health services. Patients have the right to clear and concise information about their healthcare benefits, including their mental health and substance use disorder benefits, and to access mental health services without being subjected to more restrictive requirements than those imposed on medical and surgical benefits. The law also provides patients with the right to dispute surprise bills and access an independent dispute resolution process. Overall, the No Surprises Act aims to protect patients from surprise billing and ensure that they have access to the mental health and substance use disorder services they need.
